HOBBIES ALIVE 1st & 2nd October 2017

This is a biennial event we hold. Over the two days we have on display many varied hobbies as well as craft stalls and amusements. With a 2 hectare lake adjoining the railway we usually have a good display of boats and yachts in action. A Colins class submarine model which is large enough for the pilot to be on board may be seen.

Model tractors and jeeps large enough to be driven are seen in action and smaller radio controlled earth moving equipment do some small scale landscaping. Full size old engines and cars are displayed. HO model trains complement our ride on passenger trains. Clare U3A Quilters will have a display in the nearby St Barnabas Church. Food outlets and wine tasting.
